Pain in the back is a very frequent reason for acupuncture consultations.

Whether it is lumbago a lumbar sprain or a 'kidney turn' I regularly treat patients who can no longer function normally in everyday life. The treatments I offer my patients are very effective in relieving this type of pain. Patients often feel an improvement from the first treatments. The treatment is not painful your comfort is my priority! When there is trauma from a wrong move the body's natural reaction is to contract the muscles to stabilize and protect the area. It is this same mechanism that causes tension and pain.

  • To decrease muscle spasms, I use thin disposable needles which have the effect of increasing local blood circulation and thus relax tense muscles.
  • After the insertion of a thin acupuncture needle, the body's reaction is to secrete endorphins (natural pain relieving substance)
  • Pain relief without harmful side effects allowing you to get back to your active life.

Your health

  • Stimulation of specific areas of the body: the 'acupuncture points'.
  • The insertion of fine needles (painless) allows the release of natural endorphins from your body which reduce pain.
  • Your general quality of life is therefore also improved when you consult an acupuncturist since we treat our patients with a global view of the human body.
